Untuk kesekian kalinya Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman Deru mencatatkan prestasi. Kali ini Gubernur Herman Deru dianugerahi Tanda Kehornatan Satyalencana Pembangunan oleh Presiden RI.
Penganugerahan tanda kehormatan dari Presiden RI itu diberikan langsung oleh Wakil Presiden RI H. Ma’ruf Amin pada Puncak Peringatan Hari Keluarga Nasional (Harganas) ke-30 di Kabupaten Banyuasin, Kamis (6/7) siang.
Gubernur Herman Deru dianugerahi penghargaan Tanda Kehormatan Satyalencana Pembangunan atas jasa-jasanya terhadap negara dan masyarakat dalam lapangan pembangunan negara pada umumnya atau dalam lapangan pembangunan sesuatu bidang tertentu pada khususnya.
Tak hanya itu, atas komitmen dan partisipasi aktifnya dalam mensukseskan program Bangga Kencana dan upaya percepatan penurunan stunting di Sumsel, Gubernur Herman Deru juga secara resmi dikukuhkan sebagai Duta Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting langsung oleh Kepala BKKBN RI Dr. HC. dr. Hasto Wardoyo, Sp.OG.
